That's what Crow says about the Game Master. Eight wouldn't answer any of our questions, so we decided to discuss among ourselves who the Game Master might be. By the way, Eight is the nickname we've given to our new companion.
Anyway, I suggested that he might represent the fear of losing at some thing. Crow agreed with that theory, but he suggested there might be more to it than that.
According to him, that Enhanced from before was the first person he had killed in this tournament. He let the others that he had defeated live. After his victory, the Aces appeared and took the losers away. He didn't know what happened to them after that. They could have been executed or tortured, or any number of horrible things. Crow says that he's not sure whether or not it would be more merciful to just kill them himself.
And that's where his theory comes from. The Game Master is the fear of losing, but he's also the fear of what happens to others when you win. This is all speculation. Eight won't confirm or deny any of it.
Anyway, we have to go. Alexander spotted a group of masked Slender proxies. We're going to go check it out.
